Barbados began with somebody telling me a story.
A friend's mum was flying there the following day, and as we talked, she began describing what she was going back to.
The rum shacks.
The pink sandy beaches.
The pace of life.
That warm Caribbean air when you arrive.
The colours, smells and feeling of somewhere that seems to tell you to slow down a little.
I hadn't even left the room, but somehow I could see it.
That's one of the things I love about travel.
Sometimes somebody describes a place so vividly that you start travelling before you've even packed a bag.
Barbados came into GOOD KOFFEE in exactly that way.
