Then came Vietnam.

On a rare break from the intensity of production life, I set off on a solo adventure. In a backstreet café, I was handed a drink I’d never seen before—a sparkling coffee, sipped through a lemongrass straw. It was smooth, light, and refreshing—an entirely new way to experience coffee.

That moment stayed with me. Energy didn’t have to be heavy. It could be uplifting. And just like in theatre, where timing and balance are everything, I knew coffee could be reimagined the same way."
